WILD is a London-based architecture and research studio exploring the intersection between people, place, material, and landscape. We are currently working on a number of cultural and residential projects in the UK, Ireland and Portugal.
In 2023, WILD were finalists in the Davidson Prize for Homebuilding, a project proposing straw bale self-build housing on agricultural edge sites in Hertfordshire.
The studio was founded by James Houston BA MPhil (Cantab) ARB, formerly a Project Architect at David Kohn Architects, where he led the reimagining of S.M.A.K. Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art in Ghent, and the refurbishment of Modern Art Oxford.
